Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services of NorCal VIN Check, operated by Innovo Auto LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

Services

NorCal VIN Check provides mobile VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) verification services in accordance with California DMV regulations. Our services include:

Physical inspection of vehicles
Completion of REG31 VIN verification forms
Mobile service at customer's location

All VIN verifications are performed by licensed and bonded verifiers authorized by the California DMV.

Service Limitations

Private VIN verifiers cannot perform inspections on:

Vehicles that are to be revived salvage
Vehicles that have been junked
Vehicles 1980 or newer without Federal Safety label
Motorcycles with no supporting documents or engine changes
Gray market or direct import vehicles
Armored vehicles

These inspections must be performed by the DMV or CHP.

Customer Responsibilities

To receive VIN verification services, you must:

Have the vehicle present at the scheduled location
Provide valid identification
Provide vehicle title or registration documents when available
Ensure the vehicle is accessible for inspection
Pay the service fee as agreed upon booking

Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, credit cards, or debit cards. Service fees are non-refundable once the VIN verification has been completed.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Limitation of Liability

NorCal VIN Check performs VIN verifications in accordance with California DMV regulations. We are not responsible for DMV decisions regarding vehicle registration or title issuance. Our liability is limited to the service fee paid.

Accuracy of Information

You represent and warrant that all information provided to us is accurate and complete. Providing false or misleading information may result in refusal of service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Innovo Auto LLC and NorCal VIN Check from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
