Fleet Volume Pricing
Single-vehicle pricing is $180 mobile / $85 in-shop. For fleet jobs at one location, we discount per vehicle on a stair-step model. Pricing is for one mobilization (we arrive once, verify all the vehicles on-site that day).

IRP, BTM, and commercial-conversion fleet jobs
Fleet VIN verification isn’t just out-of-state arrivals. Three additional use cases we handle regularly:
IRP (International Registration Plan)
Large commercial trucks registered through the IRP program need VIN verifications for mileage verification when fleets re-apportion across states. We handle IRP REG 31s at the carrier’s yard — owner-operators, motor carriers, and fleet leasing companies all use this. Typical IRP fleet jobs run 5–30 tractors per visit.
Bring per-tractor IRP cab cards if available; we reference them on the REG 31 alongside the vehicle’s actual readings.
Body Type Model (BTM) changes
When a fleet converts a vehicle’s configuration — dump truck to flatbed, utility van to commercial step van, or removing the dwelling portion of a coach trailer to make it a flatbed — the BTM change requires a fresh REG 31 documenting the new configuration. We handle these at the conversion shop or yard. The DMV will also want a REG 256 (Statement of Facts) describing the change, which we’ll point out on-site.
Lien-sale and dealer-inventory verifications
Dealer-acquired inventory, lien-sale vehicles, and corporate-buyback fleets need VIN verifications to clear titles or register under the new business. We handle these on dealer lots, auction-lot yards, and tow yards — most lien-sale jobs are 10–50 vehicles. For VLT (Vehicle Lien Title) cases specifically, the REG 31 confirms physical possession, which is the trigger for lifting the lien.
