How much will it cost me?
$85 in-shop at our Oakland location (fastest, cheapest). $180 mobile within a 45-minute drive of Oakland (most Bay Area addresses). Beyond 45 min adds a travel fee — call us with your address for a flat quote. Full pricing breakdown →
How fast can you get to me?
Same-week appointments are typical for both in-shop and mobile. Same-day is often available for in-shop if you can come to Oakland. Mobile usually books 2-5 days out depending on your location and route density.
What do I need to bring (or have ready)?
(1) The vehicle, physically present. (2) Title or registration documents — out-of-state title if you’re registering an out-of-state vehicle. (3) Valid government-issued photo ID. Optional but helpful: smog certificate if you already have it, any prior registration paperwork. We complete the REG 31 on-site and hand it to you ready for the DMV.
Can you inspect my salvage / revived-junk vehicle?
No — California restricts salvage/revived-junk VIN inspections to CHP only, through their SVIP program. We’ll explain the CHP process if you ask. Salvage process explained →
I just moved to California — how soon do I need this?
California’s 20-day rule: new residents must register out-of-state vehicles within 20 days of establishing residency. Clock starts at residency (job, school enrollment, voter registration, lease) — not at arrival. Penalties scale fast. Full 20-day rule guide →
Do you do fleet jobs? Volume discount?
Yes — fleet (5+ vehicles at one location) qualifies for volume pricing that scales down per vehicle. Common customers: dealerships, rental companies, commercial fleets, lien-sale buyers. Fleet page with pricing tiers →
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, credit cards, or debit cards. Payment is due on completion. For established fleet accounts we offer invoice billing.
